Место работы: Чикаго (Иллинойс), США.

Центр большой, его посещают более 1 тыс. посетителей в сутки. В обязанности ивент-менеджера входит координация программ Центра (от волейбольных турниров и кулинарных курсов до групповой терапии и ВИЧ-тестирования). И самое главное — подбор, обучение и контроль работы волонтеров. В его подчинении их более 400 чел. А также, участие в планировании и реализации программ и мероприятий ЛГБТ-центра.

— Minimum of 3 years experience in fundraising, volunteer management and/or special events
— Microsoft Office proficiency required

— Assists in logistics of special events, from large scale gala events to a multitude of smaller events, to benefit the agency programs in accordance with annual plans and in cooperation with Corporate Giving and Events Officer
— Coordinates collaborative events with other agencies and community businesses
— Coordinates and monitors activities of outside groups and organizations sponsoring benefits and special events on behalf of Center and maintains communications and relationships with other agencies, community groups, professional organizations and businesses
— Recruits, trains and supervises volunteers to assist with benefits and special events
— Plans and implements agency-wide efforts in conjunction with Program Directors to recruit volunteers based on agency needs
— Manages 400+ volunteers, to include scheduling, maintaining accountability, and reporting outcome metrics
— Directs and administers interviewing of prospective volunteers for suitability and placement into programs
— Establishes, maintains and makes recommendations for changes in volunteer policies and procedures
— Collects current and accurate data for the volunteer database
— Maintains and prepares records, reports and statistics as required
— Prepares, recommends and administers program budget
— Attends staff meetings and participates in committees as required
— Other duties as assigned
